The target is to assist those students and graduates who reside outside of the school in different cities buy apparels and clothes from the internet website. The partnership was dubbed"eCommerce." The first group of institutions to partner with the program include Howard University, Morehouse School of Medicine, Spelman College and the Interdenominational Theological Center.
This partnership between Howard University, Morehouse and Interdenominational Theological Center marks a substantial step forward for the college in its push toward becoming an online campus-based university. Interdenominational Theological Center has been a leader in supporting and developing faith-based education throughout the nation. In addition to providing faith-based student groups with the resources they need to run purposeful religious studies, the centre has been instrumental in helping to develop and launch various faith-based student apparel programs. These garments have helped in assisting in the creation of internship programs, professional wear, church assistance and youth ministry programs that further the work of those faith-based educational institutions.
The college is currently working on a variety of steps which will allow the members of its Bailey Avenue community to buy apparels and other things from its e-commerce website. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this season.
